coolness! they're like, REALLY high quality (or at least that's what Doug says. He wants to talk about them. hold on.)
DOUG'S OPINIONS: Those music videos use VERY high quality clips and music. It's almost like on the TV, it's so clear. And strangely, even though Kristy has a (relatively) slow computer, it ran just fine. I liked the song selection, although it was a bit predictable. The timing was perfect... sometimes too perfect. I didn't like how she made the characters sing part of the song. It takes away from the meaning by giving them a different voice like that. They also repeated scenes sometimes, which is a major no-no in music video making. The effects were AWESOME, I've never seen such a good job on them. There were around 10 different kinds, and they all worked perfectly. I give these music videos 6 out of 7 Dragonballs. It was almost perfect... almost.

Well anyway, here comes *THE* post. Not a big surprise, since everyone else has blogged about it, and I guess people pretty much expected me to do it anyway. I'll kinda say what Sarah did...I'm not trying to offend anybody on purpose or shoot them down or anything, so if I sound like that, I don't mean to. Nor will I yell at people. I swear. ^^;; (Do I ever really do that anyway, or am I just imagining it...? Oo) I know everyone has their own opinion, and while I/other people may not agree with it, I don't think that what you believe in makes you a horrible person. Unless you do horrible things....so...well....^^;; I'm also probably going to offend people on both sides here, but there's nothing I can really do about that and I guess it's bound to happen. Sorry! By the way, if I say "you've" and don't attach somone's name to it, then I'm just talking about the general public. Well, here I go...
1. The whole Zack/Ashley/Doug/Allison/(Jody?) whatever thing
I sorta wish the whole thing hadn't happened...it was kinda dumb, but now people's feelings are getting hurt and I had a bad feeling about this from the start. I'm not trying to say "I told you so" to anybody, and it's already happened, so there's not much we can do about it now. I'm basically hoping the whole thing will just blow over and everybody will forget and forgive. *sigh* Lesse....I don't really know Zack that well, I've only talked to him online a couple of times, but he seems okay from what I've seen. He reminds me of Reno...one of those guys who are crazy and amusing to talk to. ^^ About the kissing thing...I'm not just gonna write him off because of that, and if he really and truly says he isn't gay, then I believe him. His preferences are pretty much his own business anyway, especially cuz I don't know him that well. I'm sure not gonna tell him how to act or what to do. However, it is kind of immature to be kissing guys if you're not gay tho (I say this because I don't know how it IS "mature". I'd like to see someone explain that to me.) Also if Ashley had a problem with him doing it, it'd be different, so I don't really see a reason to drag myself completely into this.
2. The gay thing
Ok, this is one of the worst things to argue about, since there's like a million opinions on it and nobody really agrees. Ah well....I basically think that (1) a person is born with the genes/chemicals/whatever it is to be gay, and eventually they will figure it out and be gay, or (2) a very traumatic event(s) happens and they're scarred for life and end up being gay. I think being gay is mostly looked down on because like Allison said, it's not right. Or at least it's not as right as being heterosexual is, because, like Sarah also said, there is no possible way to have kids in a homosexual relationship. I guess no one really knows how being gay all started, and we probably never will. I just think that it probably wasn't meant to be, or else it would be a lot easier. I guess they're happy tho...I also don't think that God will send someone straight to hell because they're gay. What I've learned from church and stuff is that God forgives everybody if you ask to be forgiven and are sincere about it. I suppose even if you're an axe murderer and really truly are sorry, then God will forgive you. -_- I guess now someone is going to say, "Oh yeah, well it says in the Bible that you aren't supposed to be gay and it's a sin, blah blah blah." I know that, but the Bible was written a long time ago, and a lot of things have changed. (technology, society, etc.) If God is really as forgiving as he says he is, anything can be obliterated. (that's not really the word I wanted, but I think you know what I mean.) I also don't think a person should lie to themselves their whole life and be unhappy with who they are. I'm not *that* homophobic, maybe a little bit, and basically the only problem I have with gayness is those that blatantly flaunt it ALL THE FREAKING TIME and act like a frickin lech. THAT I have a problem with. It's kinda like bi people....I don't really KNOW know anybody who's like that, but depending on how they act like, it sorta seems to me like they don't care who they do what with or what sex they are as long as it feels good. Yucky. I've never really had a girl "hit" on me, (except for maybe Laniece, and THAT freaked me out cuz I was only in 6th grade! Plus she was just weird...) If one of my friends turned out to be that way, I wouldn't mind either, as long as they didn't try to do anything weird. I'd just be a person to talk to. Okii....I think I'm about done with that. I might add more later if I remember something. Now on to....
3. The religion thing (*sigh* aw, here it goes...)
Okay, I just literally read everyone's blogs who've posted about it, and yes I probably will end up completely disagreeing with somebody at some point, but I'm just attempting to say what I think. So be it. Anyway, first of all I'm Catholic, have been all my life, and most of my family is too. (By the way, Catholicism IS a Christian religion...in case you didn't know..-_-) The only thing I don't like about it is that some people have a tendency to judge Catholics before they even know what it's like. Like Sarah....I'm not mad at you, I'm just making a point, but I remembered something from a couple of days ago where you said Catholics have all these "weird rituals". Nobody except Doug's ever been to my church; (of my friends anyway) therefore I won't really listen to anyone's opinion unless they've been to my church and know for themselves. Being a Catholic is just like being a Methodist or a Baptist or whatever. Another thing...although Catholicism is one religion, all churches do different things. Like some churches sing more than others, or do things in a different order...so just because you've been to *one* Catholic church doesn't mean you've seen them all. And I'd also like for people to stop bashing Catholics, thank you very much. >< I don't really understand why no one seems to like people of that religion. garrrrr. We didn't do anything...sheesh. I remember Brian saying in orchestra (joking, I think, but still...) when we were finding out what religion everybody was, that "nobody likes Catholics." I don't exactly remember anyone ever saying anything GOOD about my religion.....rarrr again. I'm talking to Doug right now, and that reminds me....the one thing I don't like/confuses me about being Christian is that some people think all non-Christians go to hell. That makes absolutely NO sense to me. If we are all God's children (I repeat, ALL) then wouldn't He want us all to go to heaven? "All" to me means everybody, not just Christians. I mean, what are the other people that are born believing in other things supposed to do?? Is God just gonna say, "Ok, YOU go to hell FOREVER even though you don't even know what Christianity is"? That's not very fair for them. But anyway, even though I don't like some things about it, I'm proud of my religion and I'm not gonna change it. About the "only one religion" thing....I do think it'd be kinda hard to be more than one. I don't get where that was going....Oo. I suppose even agnostic is a religion too......if you're gonna be all literal....I just think that somebody should be A religion, cuz at least it's SOMETHING to believe in. I don't know anybody y'all, but I pretty much find it comforting and all to think that there's a heaven up there and SOMETHING after death. Death is depressing. yuck. Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind knowing more about other religions. Maybe I will go to Allison's church, hehe. That "speaking in tongues" thing sounds interesting. ^^ Lesse...I guess that's it, unless I remember something else. I hope I didn't contradict myself or anything. ^^:;; that would be bad. I think I did a pretty good job of saying all that without getting mad. Speaking of which, I don't really mind if people I know cuss once in a while, but I thought it was kind of unnecessary for Ashley to say all that stuff in her blog while saying the f-word almost every other sentence. No wonder Allison got so mad at her....if she(ashley) wasn't all that mad, she sure sounded like she was with all that cussing. Oo o well. I hope I sounded pretty open-minded with all that; I was trying to be. I listen to people first before I say my opinion, which is a good reason to blog last. ^^;
Well I hope this whole thing gets over itself soon...I don't like it. >= *flicks at the argument* die die dieee~ This just reminds me of the time on my bus when everybody decided to "debate" about religion, and at the end everybody pretty much hated each other for a while. Wooh, that was scary...let's not repeat that, ok? ^^; Oh yeah....another thing I don't like is debating for long periods of time. I'm not particularly good at it, I don't like it, and doing so with me is a good way to tick me off royally. >< I don't mind someone telling me what they think, but the whole evil going-back-and-forth thing just doesn't work for me.
